LONG ESTABLISHED
The Forbes Group has its origins dating back to the late 1950s, and is a major force in the field of plastics fabrications.
A privately owned group of companies, managed by a tightly knit team, with strong financial & technical bases.
We are dedicated to the design and manufacture of tanks, vessels, scrubbers, degassers and other chemical plant in thermoplastics and glass fibre reinforced materials.

QUALITY
In 1993, Forbes were the first company in their field to achieve accreditation to BS EN ISO 9001: 1994 in formal recognition of their long established quality systems. We are now accredited to BS EN ISO 9001:2000.
Fabrications are to the highest specifications as stated in industry standards such as BS4994:1987.
TECHNICAL
Our extensive "in house" capabilities include mechanical engineering design along with chemical process design. We have a CAD network operating with Autodesk Inventor Professional 10 and Autodesk Mechanical 2006 software.
LOCATIONS
The Forbes Group head office, design and administration offices are located in a brand new purpose built sales & design office located just outside Downham Market, Norfolk
The manufacturing sites - totalling 18,500 m2 are located on Pinnaclehill Industrial Estate, Kelso, Roxburghshire, UK.
There are now four purpose built factories, three of which are dedicated to plastics manufacture, the fourth being used solely for fabrication of metal accessories, such as ladders and walkways, mainly in stainless steels, carbon steels and aluminium.
Administrative computer networks at Denver and Kelso are linked by a dedicated VPN link. Giving instant access between sites and main computer servers, which also carries voice and fax and data communications.
APPLICATIONS
The requirement for Forbes products are far reaching, and our large client base covers most industries including chemicals, water & waste treatment, environmental, oil & gas, dairy & food, beverages, pharmaceutical, electronics and energy. Products handled are as diverse as sodium hydroxide, beer, baby lotion, vinegar and hydrochloric acid.
Forbes, since pioneering the application of engineering plastics has served the major companies in virtually every field of industrial activity. Not only are Forbes products in daily use at almost every significant enterprise in the UK, they have been exported around the world to locations as widespread as Arctic Russia, the Arabian Gulf, Korea, West Africa and China to name but a few.
