Thermoplastic Tanks (1)

Thermoplastic tanks are invariably most cost-effective when used as vertical self-supporting tanks.

Common uses for our popular vertical storage tanks include chemical storage, water storage, industrial oil storage tanks and tank farms.

Benefits of Thermoplastic Storage Tanks

      • Exceptional corrosion resistance
      • Lack of taint
      • Ease of transport and installation
      • Durability
      • Minimal maintenance
      • Capacities from 100 litres up to 100,000 litres

Which model do I need?

When picking a thermoplastic storage tank choose between a flat bottom, sloping base or conical base and a large range of sizes and capacities. Available as sheet built tanks or spirally wound in HDPE-PE100.

All tanks can be supplied with either open or closed tops as required.

VTF

The entire VTF range of flat bottomed tanks is designed for the most economical use of materials.

Also known as the Cheetah range, when manufactured under DWI: Regulation 31.

VTS

The VTS range has a sloped base with integral skirt and appropriate support. It can be almost completely drained.

Also known as the Cheetah range, when manufactured under DWI: Regulation 31.

VTC

The VTC ranges has a conical base with integral skirt and appropriate support offering complete drainage.

Also known as the Cheetah range, when manufactured under DWI: Regulation 31.

HVT

Forbes are proud to introduce the HVT range, our extra large, helix spirally wound thermoplastic tanks.

  • Manufactured using the latest thermoplastic extrusion techniques on state of the art ‘KRAH’ machinery
  • Free from welded seams giving a very strong and economical construction

  • PE100 grade HDPE to produce a highly corrosion resistant tank

  • Can be thermally insulated during production at minimal cost
