SUBSTANCES STORED SAFELY

Unlike ‘single-skin’ tanks, bunded chemical storage tanks have a secondary containment tank or ‘outer-skin’, also known as ‘bunding’.

Bunded tanks are the safest way to store hazardous or flammable substances.

Choosing either an external civil bund or integral bund with ‘over-the top’ discharge will mitigate against the risk of hazardous or flammable contents overflowing.
